Latest Update #1: Try the “Add Yours” Feature

The “add yours” feature is one of a kind and taking Instagram stories to a new level– and yes, we’re obsessed! If you haven’t been introduced to this tool yet or don’t know how to leverage it, please keep reading. 

“Add yours” is an ongoing sharing thread within your insta-story. You can start your own thread or you can join in on a thread created by a different account.

To start your own, simply go to your IG story, add a picture or take a picture. Next, click the additional features button and select the “add yours” feature. Lastly, write a topic, and share! For example, your topic can be “share a video of your personality”. Once you post it, others can join in on the fun. 

• Tap to add a new story
• Tap the sticker icon
• Choose Add Yours Sticker
• Type a theme or choose from the available questions/topics
• And post the Story

The great part about this feature is it’s almost like an automatic engagement/promo tool. Participants in your thread can see that you are the creator, and can go directly to your story to view your post. 

Using the “add yours” feature is the perfect way to interact with your audience and new people who don’t necessarily follow you. This feature attracts new viewers and increases engagement!

Latest Update #2: You Can Delete the IGTV App

In our latest experience with uploading content to IGTV, we realized that it wasn’t working as usual– yep, it’s no longer a thing! The platform usually used to upload longer formatted videos has been replaced with an in-app feature called “Instagram Video”. As a result, your IGTV content has all been saved and transitioned to appear directly within the instagram app, therefore you can free up some space and delete IGTV.
